Free Stair DXF Generator for CNC Manufacturing

Our DXF generator creates precision cutting files for CNC manufacturing of staircase components. Each part is exported as a separate DXF file with exact dimensions, ready to load into your CNC machine or CAD software.

The generated DXF files include all staircase components: treads (step surfaces), stringers (side supports), risers (vertical backs), and custom winder shapes for turned staircases. Each file is properly scaled in millimeters.

DXF (Drawing Exchange Format) is the industry standard for CAD file exchange. Our files are compatible with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and any CNC control software that accepts DXF input.

To generate DXF files, simply configure your staircase using any of our calculators, then use the export function to download a ZIP archive containing all component drawings.

PDF and DXF export is currently available for straight and L-shaped wood staircases. Support for U-shaped, double-turn, metal frame, and floating glass staircases is being added. The project is under active development.

What software can open the DXF files?
DXF files can be opened in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, LibreCAD, and any CNC control software. They are also compatible with laser and router CNC machines.
Are the DXF files ready for CNC cutting?
Yes, the files are exported at 1:1 scale in millimeters with proper contours for direct CNC cutting. You may need to add toolpath settings specific to your machine.
Which staircase components are included?
All components are included: treads, stringers, risers, winder treads, and landing platforms. Each part is a separate file for easy manufacturing.
